In terms of evolution, athiests, what came first, the chicken or the egg?

The chicken. The chicken was born a chicken and then came it's egg. It's parents were a variation of a chicken, but not exactly a chicken yet. Their adaptations resulted in the chicken. The egg the chicken hatched from was not a chicken's egg. It was a chicken variation's egg. From it came the chicken, from the chicken came the chicken egg. Eggs came well before chickens, to answer your question. But chickens came before chicken's eggs. You needed a chicken to lay a chicken egg.
