Laptop wont get off hibernation mode D: Need Help Please.?

I've tried taking out the battery, turning it off, and leaving it on so the battery dies. So far no success, I turn it back on and its the same thing, the little moon symbol is still lit. Has this ever happened to any of you before? If so please help D:
