Incubated chicken egg day 18?

i have 3 eggs and its day 18. 1 of the eggs I dropped at day 12. But it only cracked the outside of the egg it did not crack open. So I put it back into the incubator. I have seen movement all in it still until last night. And still nothing today. I know I am not to move the eggs after today. Just wondering. Is it possible that chick has died? Or is it saving up its energy for the big day? Thanks.
