Silkie chicken egg incubating help?

you tip the eggs up and down. that way the chicken isn't stuck to the shell when born. twice a day. my incubator had little baskets on wire and i set the eggs right on it. when they hatch, i put then under a heat lamp with a rough floor. a slick floor will make them do the splits and they won't walk or grow right. this is fun. keep records. about 21 days at about 99 degrees. i had to keep the incubator moist as well.
